How to choose a web development company in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad has hundreds of web development companies, from one-person freelancers to large IT firms. Most look similar on their websites. These questions help you tell them apart before you pay an advance.

1. Can I see three live websites you built?

Not mockups or Dribbble shots. Open the sites on your phone. Do they load quickly? Are they easy to use?

2. Will the domain and hosting be in my name?

If the agency owns your domain, you can’t leave them. Insist the domain is registered with your email.

3. Who writes the content?

Many agencies expect you to supply all text. If they do write it, ask whether it’s written for Google searches or just to fill space.

4. What speed score will the site have?

Ask for a Google PageSpeed Insights score on mobile for one of their recent sites. Anything under 50 is a warning sign.

5. Is SEO included, and what exactly does that mean?

At minimum: page titles and descriptions, a sitemap, Google Search Console setup and structured data. Rankings need ongoing work beyond launch.
