Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information WebScoders (“we”, “us”) collects when you use webscoders.com, why we collect it and what you can do about it. We keep it short and plain. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
1. Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, phone number, email, business name, website, budget and message.
- AI assistant: the questions you type into the chat on our website.
- Free speed test: the website address you ask us to check.
- Calls, WhatsApp and email: whatever you choose to share with us there.
2. Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and where they came from. It uses cookies and collects data such as approximate location, device and browser type and pages visited. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and troubleshooting.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and deliver the work you hire us for.
- To answer your questions in the AI assistant and run the speed test you requested.
- To improve our website and services, and to keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
4. Services we use
Some of your information is processed by these providers on our behalf, only for the purposes above:
- Netlify: website hosting.
- Resend: delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Google Analytics: visitor statistics.
- Google Gemini: generates the AI assistant’s replies from your chat messages.
- Google PageSpeed Insights: measures the speed of the website you test.
- WhatsApp: if you choose to message us there, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies.
These providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
5. Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The website works normally without them.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the length of the project and any period required by law. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
7. Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and laws such as the GDPR where they apply to you, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent. Email us at info.webscoders@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days.
8. Security
The website is served only over HTTPS and access to enquiries is limited to our team. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so please don’t send passwords or payment details through the contact form or chat.
9. Children
Our services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
